KHARTOUM, Sudan.
Plagued by disease, a crumbled economy and rivers of corruption, Sudan remains a humble country. One that has unexpectedly forced me to process the true adversities of life.
I left Sudan thankful for my privilege, appreciative of simplicity and stricken by the strife. I didn’t expect much before embarking on this assignment, but I am in awe of what I have found.
This is a tribute to the authenticity of Sudan, its hospitable people, and the beauty of resilience.

I just finished reading your wonderfully informative post about Lebanon. I took notes about all the places you recommended and hope to go there next month (in spite of the current political unrest). Although I realize that Sudan isn’t as comfortable as Lebanon is, I’d love to read more about your personal observations and recommendations about Sudan.
